As with many of my stories, I had no idea where this one was going. I started out with this idea of a plot twist, and then I just ran with it. At each stage, the plot twist changes the action and the setting. but I had to stop and figure out how to significantly change the scene. The common theme was the bus to Funky Town as our heroine attempts to get to a birthday party. But I wanted it plot twist to be significantly different.
Is she smoking some weed or on drugs, you may ask? Does it matter? One thing that’s kinda tough as a writer is to draw out some nonsensical scene and not have an explanation. It feels illogical to not at least have some kind of explanation for what happens in a story or a scene — at least have the ‘why’ in your head as a writer. But it’s not always necessary. Sometimes it’s fine to just run with something and make it as wacky as you can. Does it matter why or how the interior of the bus becomes the beach or the man’s cum is sea foam or the umbrella becomes a flamingo and then a candy cane that tastes like a peach margarita? Not at all. It just is, and the fantasy works regardless.
Then there’s the added scenario of trying to weave in sexuality and erotic play into every scene. How to make each of them unique? How to keep it fun, but also make it a little sexy? Is it even possible? Sometimes. It’s an exercise in either trying to make the sex make sense in a scene or just adding it in and going wild with it. Given that this story is just insane anyway, I wanted to introduce the idea that anything could happen. A rape van driven by kittens. A mermaid sucking a cock on the beach. Once you get into the groove that anything can happen, all you have to do is sit back and invite anything into your mind. Then write it.
